How do I play with winks?
On the difficulty screen, choose Wink in the Input section, then start a game. Hold the phone at arm's length with your face centered and well lit. Wink your right eye for 1, your left eye for 0, and raise your eyebrows to undo. The game picks the next cell for you.
Why is Wink greyed out?
On iPhone and iPad, Wink mode needs a TrueDepth camera — the one used by Face ID. On Android it works with the front camera. If you declined camera access, turn it on for Bitwise in your device settings.
How does Voice mode work?
Choose Voice in the Input section and allow microphone and speech recognition access. Say “one”, “zero” or “undo” (or the same words in your app language). The game picks the next cell for you.
What are the game types?
Classic uses 0s and 1s. Colors uses two opposite colors instead of digits. Flow adds a countdown to every move. Locked has no undo, and one mistake ends the game.
What are the rules?
Each cell is 0 or 1. No more than two identical digits can sit next to each other. Every row and column has as many 0s as 1s. An = between two cells means they are the same, a × means they are different.
What are the difficulty levels?
Easy, Medium and Hard are 6×6 grids; Extreme is an 8×8 grid.
What is the Daily Puzzle?
A new puzzle every day — the same one for every player, on iOS and Android. Solve it daily to build your streak.
How do I get more hints?
Each day your hints are topped up to 3. You can also watch a short video, buy hint packs, or get unlimited hints with Bitwise Pro.
What is Check Mistakes?
It checks your current grid and highlights incorrect cells so you can fix them before they cause more errors.
What is Bitwise Pro?
A one-time purchase — not a subscription. It includes unlimited hints, all premium themes and an ad-free experience.
How do I remove ads?
Buy Remove Ads or Bitwise Pro in the in-app Store.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open the Store and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) you bought with.
How do duels work?
Duels are available on iOS and use Game Center. Challenge a friend from the home screen; you both solve the same puzzle and the fastest time wins.
How does cloud sync work?
On iOS, turn on iCloud Sync in Settings. On Android, turn on Google Sync in Settings (you need to be signed in to Google Play Games); you can also use Restore from Google.
Can I back up my data?
Yes. In Settings, use Export Data to save your progress as a file, and Import Data to restore it later.
Can I play offline?
Yes. An internet connection is only needed for purchases, ads, cloud sync, leaderboards and duels.
My progress is gone. What can I do?
If cloud sync was on, sign in with the same account and your data will come back. You can also import a backup file from Settings. Purchases can always be restored from the Store.
